City Rebels Evening
Barcelona 2022.

Salon Evening

1 Evening | Barcelona

Industry events often focus on large-scale networking and quick conversations, but fail to bring people together in an environment that inspires a deeper exchange and discussion.

The City Rebels Evening Barcelona was a curated event hosted during the Smart City Expo World Congress Barcelona, in collaboration with the Berlin government and Tech Barcelona—bringing together the city stakeholders and innovators who want to transform cities.

The event was hosted at the Hidden Factory, an old warehouse in the heart of El Raval neighborhood, and the stage of Chef Xavi’s immersive dinners.

Context

Events such as Barcelona’s Smart City Expo World Congress bring people together to discuss the future of cities and discover new solutions. We leveraged the magnetism of this event and the people it attracts to curate an exclusive environment where the people changing cities can meet and challenge each other.

Our Role

We partnered with Chef Xavi to create an immersive salon experience, that invited an informal and eye-to-eye exchange between participants—from Campari clouds to singing mycelium. We paired some of the coolest minds in urban and climate topics with a mix of international startups, city officials and policy influencers, VC, and corporates, setting the scene for transformative coalitions.
